Younes Kaboul says Champions League qualification is an obsession for Tottenham this season.

The defender insists that his team-mates are hell bent on returning to highest level of European competition after a season in the Europa League.

Kaboul told talkSPORT: "We're doing quite well this season and for us our target, most importantly, is to get back into the Champions League next season.

"That's why we're trying to improve every weekend, trying to win every game, to get back there next season.

"For two years now everything has been going OK because everyone is working the same way and that's the most important thing for a football team.

"Mentally, as well, we're very strong so that's why we can produce some very good football at the weekends and we've had some good performances already this season, so we just hope to carry on like this.

"Last season we had a beautiful time in the Champions League and this season [in the Europa League] it's a bit different but we're working hard to get back there and we can do it."
