The financial windfall of Champions League football could help Juventus in the hunt for Werder Bremen's Diego. According to a report in Tuttosport, Juventus can look to bank an extra 10 million euros with qualification to the knock-out stages virtually assured, and these funds will help to finance a move for the 23 year old midfield sensation.
Werder Bremen have quoted figures in excess of 20 million euros and the likes of Arsenal have also been linked with a move for the Brazilian.
Juventus however appear to have the inside running with hopes that a deal can be secured in the coming weeks.
