Juventus have opened negotiations with Napoli for striker Edinson Cavani. Tuttosport says Juve, on orders from coach Antonio Conte, have begun discussing terms with Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis for the Uruguay international.
De Laurentiis rates Cavani at around €40 million, which is out of range for Juve.
However, they've told De Laurentiis they're willing to include Alessandro Matri and Felipe Melo in their bid. The movie mogul has asked Juve for 24 hours to consider whether to continue talks as he prepares to lose Ezequiel Lavezzi to PSG.
