Juventus will not pursue Manchester City striker Emmanuel Adebayor - even in the summer.
Adebayor claimed a loan move had been agreed with Juve for January this week.
But La Repubblica says Adebayor's €8 million-a-year wages is well outside Juve's budget and they cannot consider a deal on such terms.
Talks will be held between the two clubs over Adebayor when they meet in the Europa League on December 16.
