Juventus will compete with Liverpool for Southampton defender Virgil van Dijk in January.
The Mirror says the Dutchman is still keen to leave the club despite their refusal to sell him over the summer.
He submitted a transfer request amid interest from Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City, but the Saints dug their heels in and told the 26-year-old he was going nowhere.
Van Dijk now hopes that his wish to leave will be granted when the transfer window reopens in January.
Juve will ask Southampton if a deal can be done to take Van Dijk to Turin at the turn of the year.
Liverpool retain an interest in the player, who they were confident was joining them earlier in the summer.
