Juventus are currently considering a swoop for Manchester City right-back Pablo Zabaleta, according to reports from Calcio Mercato.
Zabaleta is currently in the final year of his contract at City and it is widely expected that the veteran Argentine will be leaving the Etihad Stadium in the summer.
Inter Milan are believed to have expressed a concrete interest in signing Zabaleta recently and now according to reports emerging out of Italy, claims have been made that even Serie A champions Juventus have joined in the race for the 31-year-old as they look to acquire an alternative option at right-back to Dani Alves.
It is understood that Swiss international Stephan Lichtsteiner will leave Turin at the end of the season and Max Allegri is eager to bring in strong senior competition for former Barcelona ace Alves.
