Juventus want to sign Aston Villa defender Olof Mellberg immediately.
Juve have been keen to secure Mellberg to a pre-contract ahead of a Bosman move at the end of the season.
However, an injury to Giorgio Chiellini has convinced Juve chiefs to seek an immediate deal for Mellberg, says Tuttosport.
