Juventus veteran Andrea Pirlo is full of praise for Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard.
Gerrard has moved into a defensive midfield role this season for the Reds.
"Smart players can fit in any formation and have the ability to fill many roles," he told reporters.
"Gerrard is an excellent playmaker who reads the game very well and has great vision.
"Steven's a great professional. I think it's possible that he will continue for several years at Liverpool and with England - perhaps in a slightly different role."
