Juventus veteran Giorgio Chiellini says their new signings have lifted the squad.
Miralem Pjanic and Gonzalo Higuain have already made a positive impact for Juve in the opening week of the new season.
“Higuain? No-one ever had any doubts about the technical quality and also human quality of Gonzalo," Chiellini told Sky Italia.
“He immediately presented himself well and gave the maximum in every training session. It's not easy to adapt to a different city and different methods - not necessarily better or worse, just different.
“So he had to adapt to our work. We have a pool of strikers who can give us so much.
“As for Pjanic, Miralem is a great player who has his qualities. He doesn't have the qualities of Pogba or [Claudio] Marchisio, he has his own, the qualities of Pjanic.
“He has great technique, a devastating final ball and ballistic quality on shots and free-kicks. And above all he's a player who it's really hard to take the ball from.
“I think the role he can eventually play is that of a mezzala [outside midfielder], depending on what's needed and what the Coach [Max Allegri] decides.
“With the new signings, it's clear that they've come here to prove they're worthy of Juventus and of the amount which was spent to bring them here.
“On our side, the arrival of these great champions has given us new life and desire to do something legendary, as our Coach and President [Andrea Agnelli] have often said, and really go for it on all fronts."
