Juventus are ready to use Diego as a bargaining chip for Werder Bremen star Mesut Ozil. With only a year left on his Werder deal, Ozil is set to be sold by his German club after the World Cup.

Tuttosport says Juve general manager Beppe Marotta plans to use Diego in a swap for Ozil. Marotta has already admitted Diego is not in coach Gigi del Neri's plans for next season.

Ozil is also interesting Serie A rivals Inter Milan.
