Juventus urged to go for "unhappy" Man Utd striker Van Persie

Juventus are being urged to make a new bid for Manchester United striker Robin van Persie. Van Persie came close to signing for Juve 18 months ago when deciding to leave Arsenal.

Former Italian footballer and now TV presenter Massimo Brambati told Tuttosport: "I know that Van Persie is not happy at Manchester United, Juventus has the right contract to try to bring him to Italy.

"The Juventus team is already very strong, so the strategy must be to sign the very best and to go for such players who are ready to leave their clubs, like the Dutch."
