Juventus and Gonzalo Higuain have reportedly agreed personal terms on a four-year contract.
Sky Italia correspondent Fabrizio Romano tweeted this evening that the Italian champions have an agreement in place with the Napoli striker for a deal running until 2020.
However, the Bianconeri must now agree a fee with Napoli otherwise they will be forced to pay his release clause of £78million (€94m), which is likely to leave Arsenal in the lurch.
The Gunners have been hoping to lure the Argentine from Naples to London but it appears as though Juve have fixed their muscle by offering the former Real Madrid striker the chance to join the five-in-a-row Serie A champs.
Higuain fired home 36 goals for Napoli last season to break a 66-year Italian top flight scoring record.
