Juventus are preparing an offer for Chelsea defender Alex.
Tuttosport says Juve will seek a new centre-half signing once they wrap up the deal for AS Roma striker Mirko Vucinic.
Alex is their prime candidate, with the Brazil international playing second fiddle at Chelsea to John Terry and David Luiz.
After the capture of fullbacks Stephan Lichtsteiner and Reto Ziegler, Juve are now focusing on a new centre-half and Alex is their No1 choice ahead of Fenerbahce's Diego Lugano.
