Juventus are battling Arsenal to land Real Madrid striker Gonzalo Higuain.Tuttosport says Juve are attempting to talk down Real's €25 million valuation, knowing that Arsenal have already met the asking price.

Higuain is said to favour a move to Turin, but like his fee, the striker's personal demands are also proving difficult for Juve to match.

The Argentine is demanding a clear €1 million-a-year more than his current €3.5 million Real salary.
