Juventus striker David Trezeguet insists he's fit enough to start against Sampdoria this weekend.

"I feel good and I have such desire to play, to score and to celebrate" he said on the Juventus Channel. "Over the last few days I have worked hard and I am happy to be available and ready to give my contribution.

"Sampdoria are a tight team and they troubled us in the first game this season costing us two important points. In Antonio Cassano they have a great player who can make the difference.

"We will have to do well and manage the game from the off if we are to secure the three points that are crucial to us.

"Then we will have to wait for the Milan derby to see if we have closed the gap at the top. We must continue as we have been playing and take each game as it comes."
