Juventus striker Trezeguet furious with France snub

Juventus striker David Trezeguet admits he's disappointed by his latest snub from France coach Raymond Domenech.

"I don't understand it," he told L'Equipe. "Domenech says he calls up players because of their performances for their clubs.

"Seven goals in six matches - I can't do better than that. It's the best start to a season I have ever had.

"When you are a starter for Juventus, Milan or Barcelona you should be called up automatically - full stop."

Trezeguet added: "I'm at an age where I don't really have to ask myself if I should be starting against Lithuania.

"I need things to be clear and the Coach needs to tell me face to face what his problem with me is.

"There is a limit. Even if I'm called up for Ukraine I will consider my options and I am giving myself two months to decide."
