Juventus striker David Trezeguet admits his chances of making France's Euro2008 squad are fading fast.

Serie A's top scorer was again ignored by France coach Raymond Domenech as he named his squad for their friendlies against DR Congo and Spain.

"I don't have great hope for Euro 2008," Trezeguet admitted to L'Equipe.

"Despite Domenech's claims in the past that he picks his team according to the way players perform for their clubs, I believe he always picks to fit his system.

"At the moment I'm obviously not amongst the top three or four French strikers."
