Juventus striker Fabio Quagliarella is delighted with his return to the Italy squad.
The veteran played for Italy coach Antonio Conte at Juve.
"With the boss I have always had a great relationship, even if I didn't play that much," he told Rai Sport.
"We had so many strikers at Juve that it was only normal that a few players had to be left out every Sunday."
Quagliarella then commented on one of the pertinent issues in Italian football - the amount of foreign players in Serie A.
"I agree with the Coach - if there are a lot of foreigners in the League then it has to make a difference.
"Their inclusion should not come at the expense of a talented young Italian."
