Juventus striker Vincenzo Iaquinta was unimpressed by comments made by Inter Milan defender Marco Materazzi.

Materazzi said last week that Juve had more quality in their squad, but Inter's determination would still see them win the Scudetto this season.

Iaquinta replied: "I do not quite understand what he meant. We're a great team, Inter are a great team. We are five points down, but a week ago it was seven.

"However, in about 20 days there will be direct confrontation and we'll see who really is the strongest between us and the Nerazzurri.

"With this, all evidence will be fire-proof."
