Juventus striker Iaquinta admits Premier League ambitions

Juventus striker Vincenzo Iaquinta is keen on a move to the Premier League.

The 30-year-old is just returning to full fitness following a knee injury.

He is now looking to make sure he makes the Italy squad for the World Cup finals this summer, but he admits he is thinking about his future.

He has three years left on his current deal but admits when his contract at Juve expires - he would like to try the Premier League.

"I have frequently been in the middle of market rumours," he told the Gazzetta dello Sport. "It's a pleasure, but there have been only rumours. I'm happy to stay at Juve.

"I have a three-years deal and I hope to win something. The Premier League, it's a good league. I would like one day to close my career in Premier. We will see. In football you never can say something."

Iaquinta admits he is now working to make the Italy squad this summer.

"It has been hard. After two months and a bit I have restarted trainings but I felt something wasn't ok.

"I thought I would not be able to recover for the World Cup, but I am not giving up. I'm only starting to feel good now."
