Juventus striker Iaquinta admits Balotelli threat for World Cup place

Juventus striker Vincenzo Iaquinta believes he must outshine Inter Milan youngster Mario Balotelli to make Italy's World Cup squad.

Iaquinta has only just returned from knee injury and is desperate to be on the plane for South Africa.

He said: "Balotelli is very strong, but I hope I go to the World Cup in June. I would like to very much, and after overcoming this bad knee injury, it will be a beautiful thing for me ..."
