Juventus striker Alessandro del Piero couldn't conceal his anger yesterday after being frozen out by Italy coach Roberto Donadoni for Wednesday night's victory in Ukraine.
"We will have to clear the air," said Del Piero. "The desire to play has never left me and being left out has angered me. But I will have to talk about this with the coach. But, yes, I am angry."
Del Piero was back at Juve yesterday afternoon and was spotted talking to directors Alessio Secco and Jean-Claude Blanc, plus coach Claudio Ranieri for a short time. The club captain is still to sit down and discuss a new deal with the Bianconeri.
