Brazilian born striker Amauri says he is honoured that Italian fans want him to play for the Azzurri. In an interview with Sky, the Juventus striker described the feelings and emotions which surround the tug-of-war for his national team services between Italy and Brazil.

I am proud and honoured to know that all of the Italian fans are hoping that I can one day represent Italy.

"You cannot imagine how this makes me feel," said the in-form striker who has scored 10 goals in his debut season at Juventus.
