Juventus have struck personal terms with Werder Bremen midfielder Diego. Tuttosport says Diego has verbally agreed to a four-year contract worth £3 million-a-season - similar to the wages of fellow Brazilian Amauri.

The deal is on an improving scale, from £3.5 million to £4.2 million in the final year of Diego's contract.

Now the Juve directors are expected to open talks with Werder in an attempt to reach agreement over a fee for the midfielder.
