Juventus veteran Alessandro Del Piero is still yet to confirm whether or not he will finish his sparkling career in Major League Soccer. The 37-year old former Italy international has been linked with a move to North America's domestic league for some time now but admits he is only concentrating on the season ahead with the Bianconeri.
Following Juventus' 1-0 win over Mexican outfit Club America yesterday, Del Piero was coy and cheeky in his response when reporters asked him if he would soon be playing MLS.
"I follow the US and MLS and I love the United States," he said.
"In the summer, I come here for vacation. And now my head is concentrated for the Juventus and then we start the season just right now. I have to think about [the upcoming Italian season].
"I don't know," he added. "I'm so young I can't think for the future."
And Del Piero added that the hitout with Club America was a very solid one for the Old Lady with both teams performing at a high standard.
"It was a difficult, hard game for us," Del Piero said. "I must say it was a good game when it comes to the physical and technical aspects. Both teams played well for me."
