Juventus captain Alessandro del Piero says they cannot worry about leaders Inter Milan.
The Bianconeri have closed the gap at the top of the table to five points.
"President Jean Claude Blanc is right when he says we need to be starving for success. That is absolutely the right term and it's very important," said Del Piero.
"We will take the good points, and there have been many, as well as trying to whittle down the defects and finding consistency. That is what makes the difference.
"We mustn't focus on Inter now, it is not the right time and it would be counter-productive. We should take our own path and concentrate on each step.
"Of course I'm looking forward to playing with Diego, but more than anything else I'm curious to play at all, seeing as so far I've barely been on the field. I really can't wait to get out there.
"Competition for places is healthy, [Coach Ciro] Ferrara makes his decisions and that's how it should be.
"We players try to make it difficult for him by being ready for as many games as possible, which means going on in the Champions League and Coppa Italia."
