Juventus captain Alessandro del Piero admits AC Milan's home struggles this season has surprised him.

The two clubs face-off this weekend and Del Piero said: "I don't think anyone expected it. The talent in the Milan squad far exceeds what is their reality at the moment."

Asked about Ronaldo's joke this week that "my fate is the same as Del Piero's, we're always talked about".

"It's true," said Del Piero. "I'll be happy to see him again and re-embrace him. I'm happy that he is feeling good. I hope we both score on the day - and Juve win."
