Italian champions Juventus are favourites to sign Gonzalo Higuain from Real Madrid according to La Repubblica.
Arsenal were being heavily linked with the Argentine striker but it is now believed that Juve have reached an agreement with Madrid to bring him to Turin for around £22million.
The Spanish club are keen to offload Higuain this summer and it appears as though the Old Lady will win the race prompting the Gunners to focus their attentions on Fiorentina's Stevan Jovetic.
