Juventus are aiming to trump Manchester United and Real Madrid for Napoli midfielder Marek Hamsik.
United and Real are eyeing the £12 million-rated Slovakia international, who only moved to Napoli in the summer from Brescia.
However, Tuttosport says Juve chief Alessio Secco intends to negotiate first refusal for Hamsik during talks over a permanent deal for Marcelo Zalayeta.
Along with Hamsik, Secco is expected to also ask about Ezequiel Lavezzi.
