Juventus are eyeing Arsenal captain Thomas Vermaelen.

The Daily Express says Serie A champions Juventus have placed Vermaelen on their wish list.

Reports on the continent mention Antonio Conte is an admirer of Vermaelen and has placed him on his list of preferred defensive targets including Andrea Ranocchia, Angelo Ogbonna and Davide Astori.

It has also been suggested Arsenal could release Vermaelen for as little as £5.9m.
