Juventus hope to secure first refusal for Olympique Lyon star Karim Benzema. A target for Manchester United, Real Madrid and Barcelona, Benzema has put all talk over a move away on-hold until after the 2010 World Cup.

Tuttosport says Juve plan to use Lyon's interest in David Trezeguet to negotiate first option on Benzema.

Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas wants to bring Trezeguet back to France in the summer and Juve directors are ready to raise the prospect of a 12-month option on Benzema as part of negotiations.
