Juventus had scouts posted to see Manchester City's defeat to Champions League opponents Barcelona last night.
Juve sent scouts to the Etihad to check on City midfielder Samir Nasri.
The Bianconeri have also been linked with City teammate James Milner, who is off contract in June, but it is Nasri who was their prime target last night.
The Frenchman has made no secret that he is happily settled at City and it will take a huge outlay from Juve to tempt the Premier League giants to sell.
