Juventus are eyeing Werder Bremen midfield ace Diego.

Tuttosport says Juve have been following Diego's progress since they began their pursuit of teammate Thorsten Frings over 12 months ago.

Diego has renewed his contract at Werder through to 2011, but it includes a clause allowing him to leave without protest should a "big club" come in for him.

Along with Juve, Real Madrid are confirmed admirers of the Brazil international.
