Juventus president Giovanni Cobolli Gigli is confident Manchester City won't tempt star pair Gigi Buffon and David Trezeguet away.

"We will not buy anybody in January," said Cobolli Gigli. "I confirm what I have said to our general manager (Jean-Claude) Blanc, we'll look at signings in June. We will try to capitalize on the great heritage of this club.

"Trezeguet and Buffon? Surely they'll stay with us."
