Juventus have joined the transfer scramble for Arsenal striker Robin van Persie. Corriere Dello Sport says the Serie A club want to make an approach for van Persie this summer and sporting director Giuseppe Marotta is eager to talk to Arsenal representatives.

His deal will have a year to run this summer and if he does not sign a new contract, he will be free to speak to foreign clubs in January 2013 regarding a move away from Arsenal.

Arsenal fear that van Persie could consider leaving the club if they fail to qualify for the Champions League and the likes of Barcelona and Real Madrid are also interested in him.
