Juventus haven't been put off by Branislav Ivanovic's new contract at Lokomotiv Moscow.
The Serbia international defender has signed a deal through to 2010, which carries a £10 million buyout clause, but Juve still intend to make an offer in January, says Tuttosport.
Juve coach Claudio Ranieri has pumped close friend Mroslav Djukic for information on Ivanovic and convinced sports chief Alessio Secco to commit £7 million when the market reopens to land the defender.
