Juventus are keen to open swap talks with Liverpool over midfielder Xabi Alonso. Juve came close to landing Xabi from Liverpool last summer and Gazzetta dello Sport says they're ready to try again after seeing a deal for Udinese midfielder Gaetano D'Agostino collapse this week.
The Bianconeri cannot match Liverpool's massive £35 million asking price for Xabi, but hope to convince manager Rafa Benitez by including players in their bid.
The prime pair to be offered to Benitez will be Danish midfielder Christian Poulsen and star French striker David Trezeguet.
