Juventus are planning a bid for Liverpool attacker Dirk Kuyt.

Corriere dello Sport says Kuyt's successful conversion from a striker to an attacking midfielder has impressed Juve chiefs, who now see the Dutchman as an ideal successor for veteran Pavel Nedved.

Liverpool are still to open new contract talks with Kuyt, whose deal expires in 2010, and Juve are convinced they can land the Dutchman for £10 million in the summer.
