Juventus have opened talks for Toulouse centre-forward Johan Elmander.

Juve GM Jean-Claude Blanc has begun negotiations with Toulouse for Elmander, who can be signed for £8 million courtesy of a clause in his current contract.

Elmander shares the same agent as Aston Villa defender Olof Mellberg, who is moving to Juve in the summer on a Bosman.
