Juventus plan to open new contract talks with Andrea Pirlo this week. With the winter market now shut, Juve will focus on contract renewals and Gazzetta Sportiva says Pirlo is a priority.

After two games on the bench, Pirlo returned to the starting line-up last night and was outstanding in victory over Inter Milan.

Juve now plan to secure the veteran to a new deal, with his current contract expiring in June.
