Juventus are in formal talks with Tottenham for Paulinho.
The Brazil midfielder is up for sale this month and Juve GM Beppe Marotta was yesterday discussing a fee with his Tottenham counterparts.
AC Milan have also expressed interest, but are at a disadvantage as they are only keen on a loan arrangement. Spurs would prefer an outright sale.
Marotta's approach has been welcomed by the Spurs board, eager to offload Paulinho permanently in the coming fortnight.
