Juventus to offer No10 shirt to new signing Tevez

Juventus are ready to offer the coveted No10 shirt to new signing Carlos Tevez.

Juve chiefs, led by sporting director Fabio Paratici, struck terms with City yesterday over a £10 million fee for the Argentine.

Tevez isn't expected to fly into Turin until Friday for his medical, but personal terms worth €5.5 million-a-year, plus €1 million available in bonuses, have been agreed.

Among points that still need to be addressed is Tevez's shirt number. At City, Tevez wore the No32, which is filled by Alessandro Matri at Juve, but the No10 shirt is free and the Argentine has the profile to fill the coveted number.

Meanwhile, it's been revealed that only a few days ago, when visiting his home in Argentina, Tevez confessed to family friends: "I'll play for Juventus.

"And that's exactly what I want."
