Juventus goalkeeper Gigi Buffon believes he can emulate Dino Zoff and play until he is 40.

"I'm now 28," said the World Cup winner, "but Zoff has done much more than me. I have always admired his loyalty to Juventus and the national team.

"In these last decades, Italy has played in a World Cup final every 12 years, I hope I am still around in 2018.

"I want to stay in shape until I am at least 35. In my job, it's not about strength, but agility, positional sense and exploding off the mark. I hope that I do not wear down prematurely."
