Juventus nervy as Man Utd track Richmond Boakye

Manchester United are pushing for Juventus youngster Richmond Boakye.

The Daily Star says the 19-year-old striker is currently back on loan at Serie B side Sassuolo for a second season, after his performances last term attracted the attention of a number of top clubs.

Italian champions Juve were quick to snap up the Ghana international this summer, completing a part-ownership deal with his former club Genoa.

But Boakye has let it be known that his dream is to play in the Premier League, with United his favoured destination.

And Old Trafford scouts have delivered glowing reports to boss Sir Alex Ferguson, who first expressed interest in the budding star last November.
