Juventus are moving to trump Manchester United for AS Monaco wing-back Bernardo Silva.

Tuttosport says United were plotting a £16m swoop for the Portugal international, who's netted 15 goals in 81 appearances for Monaco.

But Juventus representatives will meet with his agent, Jorge Mendes, on Saturday to discuss a potential switch.

Silva has been scouted regularly by United in action for ASM and Portugal since the New Year.
