Juventus midfielder Andrea Pirlo says Champions League opponents Chelsea are on the brink of humiliation.

The Blues need a result against Pirlo's Juventus in Turin tomorrow to avoid becoming the first reigning champions to crash out in the group stage.

"Chelsea will arrive in a rage after failing at the weekend, but Juve is Juve and being at home always influences our rivals," said playmaker Pirlo.

"We want to put the pressure on Chelsea. For this type of club, it's always a disaster to go out of the Champions League in the first phase."
