Juventus midfielder Felipe Melo has shrugged off his critics.

The likes of Luciano Moggi and Lorenzo Amoruso have slated Juve for paying so much for the former Fiorentina midfielder.

Melo said: "The criticism does not bother me, although I hear constantly of the 25 million spent by Juve for me and the comparison with (Cristiano) Zanetti.

"This season for me was different than the past, because I arrived late, after the Confederation Cup and I was unable to train as I did with Fiorentina in the season before."
