Juventus midfielder Felipe Melo says he owes his career to Fiorentina.

Melo joined Fiorentina from Almeria two years ago and faces his old club this weekend.

He said: "Important? I would say it was decisive. The Felipe Melo of today was 'born' in Florence.

"Fiorentina helped me win a place in the Brazil side and allowed me to move to Juve. I could never forget the 12 months I spent with the Viola."
