Juventus midfielder Claudio Marchisio is keen on a move to Manchester United.
Sportmediaset says AS Monaco are launching a €30 million bid for Marchisio, but the Italy international is reluctant to move to France.
Marchisio is aware of interest from United and favours a move to Old Trafford over Monaco.
There has been informal contact between United and Juve representatives since the end of the season over the midfielder.
