Juventus midfielder Sami Khedira is a surprise target for MLS clubs.

The Germany international, 29, is wanted by LA Galaxy, New York City FC and New York Red Bulls ahead of the new season.

Sport says MLS chiefs are in contact with Khedira and willing to hand him a bumper package - if he can get out of his Juve deal.

Khedira still has over two years to run on his current contract.

The midfielder left Real Madrid for Juve in 2015.
